I lived in Russia for 6 years .. spent many, many hours walking in Russian Forrest, winter, autumn, summer and spring. Lived on the edge of a large forest in rural parts of Malinofka. They are unique .. their plant, animal, trees ... all left me in awe. Parks and forests are highly praised and immensely respected by Russians. Just thought I'd share this for those who are not aware.

Thank you so much for making this video and all your others. I came across some very old sheets of music in a garage sale and this was among it. Delightful find for me.

I'm presently reading the book .. Memoirs of a SURVIVOR.. .. by Sergei Golitsyn .. who recalls many such music composers, artist and poets entreating their family. What an eye opener as to the truths of how 60 + million Russia's were murdered by communist revolution if not beaten to death then by starvation and expulsion to gulags and Siberia.. My word ... merely dancing the Fox Trot, or possessing anything beautiful.. no matter how small, or being a friend relative of anyone that had anything, you were exiled, your voting rights removed.. which meant you couldn't be employed or qualify for food rations. the entire nation was turned into slave labour! Thousands of old Coptic orthodox Churches hundreds of years old destroyed, relics stolen and their monks imprisoned to die from starvation. Professors, doctors, teachers, musicians, scientists, inventors... all killed. Barbarism gained power under name of communism (collectivization) for the people and country. UNBELIEVEABLE! My apology for posting politics here, but when you hear this beautiful forgotten waltze try and imagine what life was like for him and so many millions during this era. :-)
