Hope you enjoy your stay :) I agree with your point. A lot of people get upset (usually the ones that farm lower skilled opponents) when they die to archers or throwing knives. It's a shame not everyone plays the same way they do and fight in their domain right? It's similar to how there were elitist csgo pros who wanted the meta to be ak/m4/awp and as soon as the krieg/aug was discovered to be good they all complained. They were stubborn and continued to use ak/m4 and got destroyed in tier 1 tournaments because of ego.

Nonono. Archers don't contribute to their team. Ambushers are out there like everyone else. They're annoying but there's no class worse than archer.

No offense but when all your kills are mostly running up on unsuspected and outnumbered enemies and just ganking them or using throwing knives on low health enemies its not really impressive and its not really entertaining content. The way I see it is you are running around till you find low health players ganking them and the running away and its honestly pretty boring to watch. I feel that you ran from many fights which were winnable and it was kind of boring to watch. I feel when people go to watch chivalry 2 content they like players who are able hold their ground in stressful situations and still come out on top or at least go down with a good fight. I feel that its more impressive and entertaining to see players in the middle of the battle being able to out match their opponents with feints, counters, active parries, jabs, kicks, and weapon animation manipulation. Also you mentioned that assassin isnt a front line class I disagree it very well can be. The reason I feel you are not able to is because you are using two daggers. If you used a hatchet or a short sword it would really make a difference since those weapons can cleave, and you could still use the more damage on back stabs effectively if you maneuver you way around your opponent and use heavy over head attacks with the hatchet. But at the end off all this I think if you are having fun that my points really don't matter and I hope you don't take any of this personally. I know when I play chivalry 2 I'm kind of a sweat and thats how I have fun with the game and I know other people have fun just playing the game casually. I really just wanted to say all this just to maybe give you a glance into how some people think of the content you make.

I appreciate your comment and I am open to discussion. I do think of the way I play and you raise good points. The first point I want to raise is that I am a casual player. My technical skill are not good enough to 1v1 good duelists nor 1vX. If you have a lot of time and effort to master the game I can see why you will look down upon the way I play. It is what it is. I take no offense. I usually pick 1-2 different types of attacks to use the entire game and have fun. If you are looking for highly skilled players I am not the one to watch. If people only watched highly skilled players then you would see the highly competitive players getting great viewership. I cater to a casual audience who make up a majority of players. As for your other points, ganking is what Ambusher does best. 7 throwing knives can mean 7 kills. Easy at mopping up low hp targets that may otherwise full heal then get back into the fight and cause issues for the team. You can front-line as ambusher but objectively speaking all other combat classes do it better. They have more HP, some have better abilities, long reach weapons, more damaging weapons. You are gimping yourself if you play ambusher as a frontliner. Not saying it cannot be done but don't kid yourself if you think you can 1vsX against players of similar skill level with a hatchet or shortsword. Think about it. Who would win, you with a hatchet or two of you with messers? If you disrespect the opponents go for the 1v2. Often it only works out if you are fighting lesser skilled opponents. Also backstabs with the hatchet/short sword are not as satisfying as the dagger nor do they one-shot 3/4 classes. I am min-maxing and playing the class to my preferred playstyle. I understand the point of view of wanting to see epic 1v1 duels with a good show of combat prowess. The extreme of that is dueling and most people do not duel or like to watch dueling. It comes down to viewing preference. There are different skills to master in combat and one of them is ganking. I have plenty of videos where I lead the charge and go in first. Not doing that as ambusher. The notion of not running away and taking unfavorable fights (i.e. out numbered and out skilled), sure you can play like that. I don't see the point of taking senseless deaths. There is a time and place to fight to the death and those do produce epic moments. Anyway thank you for leaving your feedback. To be fair this is titled the mind of a Vanguard Assassin, which the Ambusher class is the de facto Assassin class. I believe such a playstyle is to be expected more often then not given the context.
