the first game was amazing and very under the main radar for most people. the big team objective battles are the best, but duel servers are cool how they are set up for rotations of people and stuff or just a good old gladiator style free for all with spike walls and pits to kick people into and shit. Of course it's dated, there isn't much you can invent in these types of games, everything has already been explored. If you actually spent at least a day playing this game, and progressed to an actual decent level. i remember getting into the original chivalry in late 2019, i sucked a lot at that game and still do. What remaid of the community was welcoming, they always teached you how to do things. Like, the would shoot an arrow while you had a shild up and then tell you how the shild dosent cover the feet or the whole body and how to re adust and shit. Excited for this game!! Though It would be nice if they would update Longsword and Messer to be Bastard swords and usable one-handed like they used to be. Or let Guardian Knights equip them by default and exclusively give them the ability to one hand them. Also Knights should be able to equip heater shields by default or whatever this game calls them. And subclasses absolutely should be able to use each other’s similar weapon equivalents by default.

Chivalry feels a lot less complex compared to Mordhau but a lot more cinematic. I overall prefer Mordhau because of the skill ceiling and etc. I do have to give Chivalry props for being accessible on all platforms, it's definitely gonna last a long time and not become a total sweat fest unlike Mordhau.
