the first game was amazing and very under the main radar for most people. the big team objective battles are the best, but duel servers are cool how they are set up for rotations of people and stuff or just a good old gladiator style free for all with spike walls and pits to kick people into and shit. i remember getting into the original chivalry in late 2019, i sucked a lot at that game and still do. What remaid of the community was welcoming, they always teached you how to do things. Like, the would shoot an arrow while you had a shild up and then tell you how the shild dosent cover the feet or the whole body and how to re adust and shit. People were really good and i had a tough time getting any kills. Might try this one out if i get the boys to buy it too

This isn't Mordhau, you don't have a complicated mechanic system with a steep learning curve. You don't make much of a good point, yeah it's easy because the dude literally just got the game and matched with other new players. And what else was Chiv 2 gonna improve or explore? Of course it's dated, there isn't much you can invent in these types of games, everything has already been explored. If you actually spent at least a day playing this game, and progressed to an actual decent level. Then you would maybe fight more challenging players, maybe you'll find that swing spamming doesn't work, and you gotta read your opponent...
