Yes! That’s their biggest problem with retaining players! Ppl want a grind to look forward to, a greater goal to seek, that kindve element can get ppl to play the game even when they aren’t in the mood simply for the grind. It would be nice if there was more customization to the game as well as a more in depth leveling system. It’s just crazy to me that those few small things are what’s truly holding the game back and yet things like that seem so low on the priority list for the devs even though literally every successful online multiplayer today offers those amenities.

They need to rework the catapult objective: Agathans are better off destroying their own catapults than using them since it will slow down how soon Masons can repair them and use them for their own objective.

Wish the footman would get the staff like it did in chiv 1. Also they need to add like special anti horse bonuses, like all stabs with polearms do extra damage to charging horses etc.

The winter map is nice to look at but i hate it, and i dont even lag like most people when i play on it. The whole map is nothing but destroy objectives and thin chokepoints.

@@MDMDMDMDMDMDMDMDMDbeen playing for a few weeks and I’ve seen it happen once. That said, it makes sense because Chivalry maps aren’t designed to have every stage winnable by defenders, if you get pushed back to the end you basically deserve to lose

About player retention. The whole category of melee games is somewhat niche, what people assosciate with video games is an FPS so when games like these come out not many people gravitate towards them due to not being used to melee slasher type games. People don't like change so they don't stay, kinda sucks ngl because I belive that if enough attention were brought upon this category it could really bloom.

I love that they fixed the hat bug, I cannot describe how annoying it is to have the perfect outfit on your character just for it to be ruined by the default helm

I was so excited when i first saw the katars in the patch notes only to be immediately disappointed by the fact that nothing was changed besides bugs. Honestly just make them longer like how they made the highland sword shorter, its already the worst weapon in ambusher by far. You cant use the throwing knives while using them, the damage is worse than the dagger which is basically better than katars in every way and way easier to use with essentially the same function, the block negation on the katars are DOGASS you cant win a 1vX even if you summoned satan through a blood pact to assist you. I get its not for 1vX but its hardly better at 1v1 especially when enemies can essentially ignore all of your wind-up animations for a free hit. Youd be lucky to find 4 players using it in a 64 player server which is awful considering that it looks badass AND its a newish weapon with special properties.

Hardest map to play as attacker. Can't see well with all the snow. After each fight turn around and thought was a teammate but turns out its the enemy.

The attackers almost always breeze through the first objective in about 2 minutes and win more often than not.

My partner and his friend play this game and are wondering how to get out the flowers for combat? As they know they can use flowers as a weapon and are struggling to how to get them out Thanks in advance!!

If they look in the armory theyll find them under weapons at the very bottom. Once equipped, in game you hold down your weapon change button (im console so this is right on the d-pad for me) and it will give you an entire weapon wheel. From there they shouldnt have a problem.

Is anyone on Consol having a problem that I’m having all you can play is the winter mode you can’t play any of the other modes like the standalone mode you can’t even play the beginner mode for my little son and for Consol users you can’t even get the battle pass. Is anyone having this problem please somebody help? Seems like every time they come up with the update. They messed things up worse I’m just trying to figure out if it’s just me having this problem or everybody’s having this problem because my little son is trying to learn how to play the game and he can’t even go to the beginner mode so he’s thrown in with all the tryhard’s, he’s playing the guys I’m playing which he has no chance against them

You have to buy it which cost 1000 crowns (6.99$ us dollars believe). When you buy it, it's automatically active and you have to just get kills on winterhold.

All the interesting skill ceiling is gone from chivalry and the maps look nice but aren't very interesting from a gameplay perspective. None of what they've released makes me want to come back. I don't want to earn cosmetics in a game that's just gonna be repeating the same really bland gameplay loop forever.

I don't know why, but i have the feeling that mordhau is gonna try and get out a Battle pass of their own with probably the ugliest armours in existence, a few new hairstyles, weapon skins and a few new voices and it's gonna be 10-15 euros
