I feel more okay with it? It feels more uplifting. Letting go of Makoto and defeating the monster of regret that took on his form feels more uplifting. A painful step closer to closure and moving forward.

P3Fes and P3R should be treated as separate entities: P3Fes is a game that revels in the darkness which has a glimpse of hope shining through, while P3R is just hopeful overall with its lighter setting. I know Episode Aigis was an after thought, but I hope this will build off of what P4AU has promised us in Elizabeth’s campaign.

I'm the only one who would say this but maaaan! i love how the boss is better now! usually in the og always hit the same character who just copy and even with his 1 more, it was always wasting them, making me feel sorry for him in a werid way, here is better to the point it can cure himself, now it's a better representation of the Shadow Makoto (Gameplay wise)

Nibba the point was to show how homie was LITERALLY dying and to force SEES to come to grips with watching him decay away in real time, which was the price of giving up his existence *Twice.* “Peaceful death” what tf ever. He still decays away piece by piece, his flesh and bones being stripped away until there’s nothing.

in this particular case, Shadow Makoto is an amalgamation of the entire party's regrets over the MC's death in the base game. The final boss took advantage of it to create an entity to stop the party

I'm sorry but the dialogue in the original was way better. Metis was way more harsh and critical of the group's ignorance of how personas and shadows worked. Ken's comment in the original saying "it's almost funny" was better than this "how ironic" comment.
