Words can’t even describe how much of a genius Kishimoto is and whoever was involved in creating the entire story. Creating another Naruto game everybody already knowing what happened in the series… and still in such a beautiful way to combine what we know to re-tell the story without even being annoying…. And combined with a new story about “the future”…. A pure masterpiece! As many others, I wasn’t expecting this game to be more than Storm 4 with more DLCs…. But this game it’s worth every cent for what they created here in my opinion, just for the special story! Even if the ending felt a bit on a speed up to be ended… I still enjoyed every minute of watching this! Amazing!

All I gotta say is... Well FRICKIN done!!! I've never felt this much happiness and joyfulness in a game story before. This story mode really did it for me... Everything about it: The characters, the character development, the fights, the bosses, the storyline, EVERYTHING was just a straight up masterpiece. I've never wanted to buy a game so bad in my life until now. I will forever cherish this wonderful masterpiece they call a story mode. When I get enough money, I don't care how much it is, it could cost $2,000 and I would STILL buy it in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for doing a playthrough on this game. I feel like I want to cry because of how amazing and outstanding this is.... And I'm not much of a crier. My goodness! This original story may have had some ups and downs, but the two things they did REALLY well was add such emotion along with referencing so much of the Naruto legacy through Boruto. One of the best original story game alongside Phantom Castle. It's a beautiful story that tied to the central theme of Naruto and the legacy of past eras, of how the people of the pasts reminded the terrible events that happened in the past eras, unfit in the new peaceful era. How Boruto learned and understand his father's struggle to break free of the cycle of hatred, helping Nanashi and free her from her hatred, like how Naruto helped Sasuke bring back to the light. Sasuke Vs Brainwashed Naruto is a natural epilouge of their fights in the past, reemphasized how much Naruto impacted Sasuke. Sadly, I have a mixed feeling about the true ending. On one hand, yeah, it's a happy ending for Nanashi for getting her hapiness she deserved, but on the other hand, that would erased everything that she learned from original timeline and the meaningful moments that happened at that time. I feel like her death is a great conclusion to her character arc, where she finally learned to have friend who acknowledge her as human and caring for them in the end, and that's why she gave her life for Boruto. I also have nitpick criticisms, like the bad English voice acting and the lack of cinematic QTE that could have help enhanced the emotion of certain fights. I also confused about the timeline placements in this game, as it does seems to fit more with the manga due to the lack of Jogan and Boruto doesn't regconized Toneri, and in the anime, Boruto learned about Sasuke's situation in the past in different circumstance. What is contradicting is that Boruto isn't aggressive and distrusting toward the scientist that tricked him, so it's natural that it's after Ao arc, but Kawaki isn't there.

I agree with you, as it should have someone mentioned or at least show emotion besides the warmth feeling, but Boruto's English voice isn't bad at all. The only thing that bugs me in the dub is, the way of saying the words and the actual meaning behind them. Like, at time, the translations and the meaning of the words in Japanese, are either forgotten or changed to due to translation. Which is why, it makes you feel that way

I can see the creators making a movie of this only game story and making it in a way connect to the Boruto blue vortex manga especially after seeing Toneri Ōtsutsuki tells you that he’ll play a big role later in the manga. I think Amado is Jiraiyas dad I thought about this ever since I found it Kashin Koji is Jiraiya clone and delta was a clone that’s related to Amado being his daughter so Jiraiya could be his son or a relative and orochimaru is either half or full otsutsuki because Toneri looks just like Mitsuki and orochimaru acted like an otsutsuki putting curse marks on people. He wanted sasukes body and later became sasuke mentor just like Jiraiya is Naruto’s mentor. Orochimaru was Jiraiyas friend, It would make sense why they hide Jiraiya and orochimaru families maybe up until now. If I’m right then that would be one of the biggest plot twist in Naruto

Cool game! It’s just lame they didn’t include kawaki in the story mode that would’ve been cool if kara was a part of it though, because this story pretty much takes place in I’d guess an alternate timeline of naruto/boruto

Pretty disappointing tbh. I don’t like how they make the Uchihas evil for no reason, and why do Sasuke and Sarada have so little? They should’ve given Boruto some story about the Uzumaki clan and left the Uchiha clan for the actual Uchiha in the show.

This game took so much from the Star Pupil novel where Sasuke trains and geos on a mission with the Team 7 kids. Theres major differences so I won't go into detail but the novel is a lot better. Hopefully it gets a manga like Sasuke Retsuden did. Would make a good movie to.

Damn for some reason, This dlc makes me like Boruto because Nanashi pushes the story foward. Like his father Naruto, Boruto wants to understand Nanashi and what made her hate the Shinobi world, So he's done whatever he did save her.
