@@filmdarren1252 Strikes don't have an end date. They really only end when those striking get what they want and then they can return to work, but this doesn't seem to be happening with the current strike anytime soon.

@@filmdarren1252 We don’t know. We only know that when they were called to record lines for the 5.1 event, they didn’t because of the strike. You would only get an answer if any other content involved them again in future updates.

Mavuika had more scenes than Capitano (2 scenes in 5.0 and only a few in 5.1). I counted.

It is nice to see Capitano again. Also, replacing the voice actors with AI is such a risky and prick move. The VAs devoted everything to Genshin Impact. An example is Erika Harlacher (Venti) who is willing to sing Venti’s poems rather than just reading them out loud. It’s like replacing actors with shapeshifting androids which would in result infuriate everyone who are fans of that actor. AI can help with certain problems but they cannot replace the human soul.

Cyno VA said it will be coming back. The voice actors have to switch to a new studio which will take a lot of time but it will come back sooner or later

its already a big problem. At this point I've started wondering if the strike is even doing anything other than hurting uninvolved parties. formosa doesn't seems to budge and they honestly seems just too big to be affected by these things so they aren't hurt by this strike. The only people who are hurt by it now are the consumers, companies like hoyo and the voice actors themselves..

I was baffled by how soon the quest ended. Went back to watch 5.2 trailer and saw something with Oriron saying "i have to save something, granny wont let me". This part was not in this quest. 😅 I guess it will be part of the event then. Genshin didin't cook much in 5.2 maybe they are saving all the cooking for 5.3

Oh I'm so glad the archon quest is so short this time. I was getting ready for another 6 hour marathon but now I'm saved 😌 they should really make it 3h max in one patch. With the story quests I know it's a bit more, but thats not the main story luckily.

This one's an interlude, that's why its short. I personally like long quests as long as they're not boring. 6hours may be a lot, 3hours to short but 4h30 would be cool. Patch would be so boring with only 3hours quests tho

I had the same issue! What I did was I enabled the "Focused Experience Mode" feature after I relogged into my account. That seemed to have work for me - was able to fight the Abyss monsters.

I can't progress through this archon quest because of some bug I encountered during the part where we search for abyss monsters. I always get teleported into the water after the dialogue and had to repeat again and again

It’s an “interlude” exactly because it is a filler segment of the story. If you want long quests, just wait 40 days and we’ll finally have the Natlan finale

well at least this one is normal, a little under an hour is how all of them should be. Maybe i would be more interested if they didn't have the repeated dialogue from paimon, and the over explaining, or talking about nothing. that kills the story and ruins the quests, all because they dont have competent writers. On top of that, they dont let you skip, and they dont let you even get through dialogue fast enough, you have to wait for no reason to get to another dialogue scene...like why??

3 filler patches in a row, i understand the VA strike but man natlan by far has been THE WORST area Hoyo has made, gameplay wise its fun but narrative? Terrible, Natlan feels small and the transition between tribal areas feels black and white, in liyue / monstadt the transition is natural. In natlan it feels like a right turn.
