Two ways to cheese the final boss: 1) Die to first set of enemies that spawn. The boss fight will restart but the enemies won't spawn. 2) Use the bow with stun chance. A few Bows have it. This will cause the boss to get stunned. If you did the side missions, one of them provides the lightning arrow which is random. It will add to the stun factor and chance. Play Hades on switch. One of the best games ever made. In that game, Hades is a pretty badass and grumpy father like Kratos.

There's a manga called "Record of Ragnarok". Highly recommend it. It's really good in general and Hades is portrayed as someone others actually look up to. He is even know as "the god whom other gods rely on the most". I'm sure you'll like it!
