Like or Dislike: Like. Completely agree with your notes and takeaways re the Chivas 12. The purist in me wishes it wasn't artificially colored, but it's really a fine product. Haven't tried the XV.

Probably the best 'go to' easy drinker is the Monkey Shoulder. Cheap enough to not break the bank but tasty enough to compete
