I'll second this list. But first watch sethu which was his first successful movie that catapulted him as a recognised hero after years of struggle as an actor, with many opportunties that followed. Really FUN movies of his to watch would be saamy, dhool and dhill. he was really in his prime in these movies. Fun fact: Vikram acted as the antagonist in Raavanan (tamil) and as the protagonist in Raavan (Hindi) which wer shot simultaneously. The man really has a range. You will LOVE Deiva Thirumagal!! Try not to cry. Also in pithamagan. I hate this movie only because it was so good and sent me into depression for a week. I is the movie where he looks like quasimodo. It is also worth the watch just to see his dedication to his craft in changing his physique to fit the 2 looks required for the part.

It's not just about roles , he can live as a character to any role . Vikram is best actor, we all love him, but I don't thing that some certain role he can excel like kamal. can vikam act like kamal hassan like vasool raja, pammal k sambandam?. Vikram can act like a local Don with local slang , but still that impact fr an audience it won't have much impact.
