I tend to binge watch videos lately so I'm late to the party.. Happy Birthday Suriya... Just to share I'm a north Indian but I love him.. I had always heard about him when my friends used to mention his hindi dubbed movies(We didn't had cable or internet connection till my gap year after school) Then I watched him first in Mass and I was damn impressed..I used to listen to naan aval illai all the time..Then I watched 24 then maatran I was so much fangirling over him I had been listening to his songs all the time..most of the songs from the movies I haven't watched.. Watched many videos of him and the movie clips.. Watched dubbed version of Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.. Annul maelae,munbe vaa,nani koni,naan un,mun paniya,ondra renda aasaigal,oru maalai,suttum vizhi,nenje nenje,adiyae kolluthey,mundhinam,yaro yaro..I listened to them all time.. Even today I watch him here and there.. Yes,his eyes💙💙 He is the first Tamil actor I have searched so much for(Madhavan comes 2nd😅)..Love you Suriya..

From historical point of view when somebody bowed it was to his master, guru, king, elderly people of his region and sometimes to a younger person too. Whene you are bowing you show your hands as thay are empty or joined hands (i.e. you don't have any weapon) and bow as you surrender to the body infront of you. By this two things are shown, first that you are not to harm the person infront of you as you bow it is very difficult to harm the other as cannot see what's infront of you and second thing is bowing is meant as surrendering; complete surrender to the person infront of you as to show that you trust that person, that you are willing bow and have no view of front person who can easily hit you. Simply it means that you trust that person and in similar terms you respect that person. It meant that you are of saying that now you surrender yourself to that person and are willing to do tasks as asked by that person by to show that you trust and believe that the other person will ask things that are good for you, for him and others. As people grow old they gain knowledge and experience. You bow to the elderly person who will do good to you and mostly elderly family members, gurus, kings were those who are to do good to you, teach you, help you It also sets a instant connection to some extent which is more than ways of greeting. A person is not asked to lie down down and fold his hand every time as you are making yourself dirty. And yes people did that when they were really overwhelmed. A person should bow showning his hands that's ok or could bow and touch feet that too is ok
