Thanks everyone for watching my very first guide for Strinova. I am by no means an expert but thought it would be fun to put some information that helped me improve into this video and to try and get more people to play my favorite shooter with me!

Sprint speed is bad, but when the alternative is 3-shot bursts on Celestia, then taking sprint speed is worth it especially when its a close-range map (cause 3-shot burst is only good for long range due to the lack of recoil).
@chizukoyote9 күн бұрын
@Wuthering_Waifus in that case it's definitely up to your play style. I actually take sprint vs 3 round burst on Celestia too because I play rifle/SMG users more

Dw a later patch removes the 3 burst in favor of making it a toggle

1:14 I feel like some people may not understand why to take the movement speed over dmg reduction upgrade, it’s because the bonus movement speed makes rotations easier and quicker, and most of the time the reduced damage shouldn’t have much of an effect since it’s so hard to hit you anyways. Kinda wish the video explained that but oh well 2:40 some newbies might think of this as a joke, but the emberspit and sword deal about 33% more damage to stringified enemies than non-stringified enemies 3:00 I kinda wish that at least their basic definitions were explained, but here some of them are. Cracked means that their shield is depleted and thus they are much easier to kill Pinch is a manuever where a flanker(s) and the main force attack the enemy from both sides, pinching the enemy between them. Not sure what heavens is, probably smth to do with high ground, will edit when someone informs me 4:00 smokes are generally useful even outside of scan characters. Their vision denial allows for resses, plants, defuses, or sneaky pushes in scenarios where that usually wouldn’t happen. 4:25 best advice to give to new players. too many new players, even those from other shooters like valo, tend to split up too much and get taken down by numbers. Your life is the most important resource in the game so conserve it as much as possible. This is why cn players tend to hang back “too much” and let the attacker take the site on defense, it allows them to avoid picks more and have better odds at winning the retake. One last piece of advice for specifically defense. I often see newer players, when spotting a team pushing mid, especially when pushing mid on base 404 or space lab, overcommit while trying to get a quick pick and die. This is a terrible idea most of the time. Since this game has res mechanics, even if you trade with someone, which is rather unlikely in any scenario worse than a 1v2, they’d just get ressed and you’ve practically done nothing. Information on their location is enough, once you have it, fall back to your team.

This was definitely helpful for when I first played as part of a team on a stream last night, Chizu! Especially the part on squad tactics and focusing on ganging up on targets. Helped us all a lot on an Escort match when a few targets were entrenched behind cover preventing us from moving the target, so we swarmed them one at a time to spread out their attention to pick them off one at a time.

These are all great tips! I would add one thing on stalling, though: Stick to the walls! It increases your vertical movement speed and it gives your enemies a smaller target (as long as you're not on a wall in front of them). It's a great way to escape to higher ground as well

Very well said! I appreciate the lengths you went to to make sure that each point had a relevant visual example and that it lasted for the entirety of each section! Can't wait for your communication lingo video!

Thanks for the tips , please do more strinova content ❤ and if possible make the sound of the game a little bit lower than your voice so we hear you better ❤

Nice tips but your voice is cringing me Don’t wanna be rude because the tips were useful and detailed but it seems way too forced for me (I repeat: I don’t wanna sound rude and I’m sorry if I might annoy you but I just wanted to point it out)
