Aswadil Amin wild sneasels have a 5% chance of carrying them. Put a mon with compoundeyes in the front and it ups it to 20% odds!

One run that'd be fun to see is a mono poison type run. While they only have one type effectiveness against grass in gen 3 and key weaknesses to psychic and ground, I'd say the resistances it has and pokemon available might be fun to use

Another fire video 🔥 I'd suggest a Rock type mono! There aren't many good options, but there are a few gems (pun intended); and overall, the Rock type doesnt have any inherent type advantage over the teams that the E4 uses. I also can't believe I never realized how there are so few Fire types that take neutral damage from Water; even considering all mons up until Gen 8 😮

I did this run, too, and I had to level 4 fire types (by trading 3 of them to another ROM and spamming rare candies) to level 100 to beat _Wallace._ In some parts of the Seafloor cavern, I ended up relying on ExtremeSpeed crits and flinches on Ninetales's Extrasensories. The one battle in victory road with EQ spam required me to hax the Flygon into missing a lot of its attacks and using 5 fire types instead of Flash. Glacia was impossible for me; I should have gotten quick claws.

Yeah, looking at the Glacia battle here and Blaziken's performance in the Mono Fighting video, it would've been a better choice. For example, you wouldn't have had to fish for Hydro Pump misses on Lapras and just clicked STAB Superpower.

Good news for when you get to the ghost monotype, there are only 6 fully evolved ghosts in gen 3, so no need for teambuild. Also, you should try dark or ground type next.

I was a little tilted when Ninetales was crossed off since it’s my favourite Pokemon but I understand why. As you mentioned it’s main quirk is status conditioning things which is useless in Kaizo and its moveset is very limiting. But other than that I loved the video keep it up chizzy! ❤️

Blaziken should definitely have been a pick, fighting STAB would have been amazing against Glacia. The strategy there would be quick claw fighting STAB.

The only thing Blaziken would’ve been more useful for in the entirety of the league was Glacia’s Lapras. Even Glalie just outspeeds and OHKO’s it with Weather Ball. Can maybe argue Blaziken > Charizard but the speed and it being weak to the millions of psychics and flyings was the deciding factor for me

Perhaps you can use GS codes to give you infinite rare candies, so you can talk about every important battle, such as gym leaders, Maxie, Archie, etc. use Pokémon that are found in those areas, and use rare candies to put them at a reasonable level, so you don’t spend hours grinding.

My team is Fire only, Rate my team: Arcanine is a champion because of wild charge and crunch, I actually trained the growlithe up to level 47 so it could learn morning sun. Its a defensive nature -attack so I figured just make it a bulky special attacker with recovery with no ES. Blaziken starter with blazekick superpower absolutely decimating everything, I also got a cheeky sand attack on it LOL. I got a crap -def nature on it so it basically dies to everything though. Tutored it thunderpunch for coverage but honestly I'm pretty sure the only opponent where TP is better than BK or SP is Dragon/Flyers, even then BK goes even with it and burn is better than para imo. Could run Rockslide or crush claw even. Charizard with +SpA DEstroys everything with Fire Blast. I run Bite and Dynamic Punch for more hax chance which is useful cuz its fast as hell and can take advantage of flinches. Obligitory Fly cuz I'm tilted since Gen1 (YuNoFly?) Camerupt is basically necessary to Anti-counter Charizard threats. Run basic stabs + ancient power for omegalulboosts and body slam for speed control. This thing cannot touch water types period... Its honestly a brick if its not facing Elecs, but thats important enough to run it. Flex spot Ninetails/Torkoal: Depending on the major fight (I don't even bring anything more than top 4 normally, to soak up XP and become OP) Torkoals explosion kicks ASS and can be used in conjunction with fastZards Fly to dodge the damage. This thing got me through the psychic twins *praise god*. Ninetales I use less frequent but can be good given the correct circumstances. I found a super fast one with decent bulk IVs so I've been using it for confuse ray + hypnosis (heart scale), Extrasensory for max hax chances. Houdoom was the last edition to the team and I've been training him up at sky pillar as I am basically WALLED by WaLlYyYyYyY... I got lucky with a Timid nature and I chose to keep bite over crunch for superluck factor (where crunch would likely be overkill on the 2HKOs, Bite wins as a psuedo OHKO when flinch. This happens OFTEN). I'm giving this thing my Overheat too I believe. Its frail so getting hit likely spells doom any way so recoil isn't a huge deal. I thought one of these guys woudlve learned Eruption but I guess not. Typhlo might? so maybe I switch it up when it matters, but I gotta double check. I'm just grinding away until I hit 90's for Wally. This shit is insane...
