It really does... being classically trained vocalist that sings gospel... when you sing so openly, inhaling an expelling air in such great force sometimes you can dry out before a song is over and start to cracking. Just like pastors who WHOOP that get that barking sound. Well at least that's my experience.

Not sure about that. For years Patti LaBelle talked about how she would chew gum when she sings, to help her with the higher notes. Not sure if it really helps, or if its just a psychological thing. Maybe Nikki is just following in Patti's footsteps:)

It just seems like that because i sing and do scats and rifts when im happy its just something that happens when you realize what the lord has gave you even being young like i am i love showing out for the lord because psalms 150:6 says Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. And singer like me are just so happy that he gave us the gift to exceed that
