Chkalov Is Overcooked... How Long Will It Last?

Here’s what I think it’s not getting nerfed till next Al wave they will add chakolov as a commander wait a week then nerf her for maximum cash grabbing. I think the alpha needs to be nerfed a lot but not much else because then you just make it worse than poebeta

I think they'll nerf the alpha a bit as well as the fire chance on the bombs. Outside of that there's really not a lot you can do to it to still justify the pricetag.

I don't think Chkalov needs another embarrassing hotfix, yes it brutally punishes mistakes and yes it's too effective against all ship types. But already i'm seeing people adapt and figure how to reduce the affects Chkalov has on the match. Considering this is only a 4 week update, leave Chkalov be for now and let the playerbase continue to adapt. If the data still points to nerf by the end of the update (which I think it will) then nerf it. Don't nerf it a week after people have spent 750k GXP/17.5k doubloons on it

I highly recommend tulsa i had a 4900 xp base game last night kraken high cal double devstike confederate 3 base caps. I killed 3 dds 1 cruiser and 1 bb. I dont know what they did to tulsa but its been amazing. I havent played it in months untill last night a few games .it feels way better. That was my highest base xp ever. I also got alot of defend ribbons too.

Eh since there skip bomber short of crossfire or being a dd they hurt more than pobeda but podea does still hurt and so does Lexington or Parseval

Stalker 2 is 143 gigs 😅 Played it for like 8 hours last night. Definitely needs some fixes. A lot of stick drift with controllers because there's no dead zone settings. AI definitely needs a rework because they detect you almost immediately inside of a certain bubble, so there is absolutely no stealth tactics to speak of. Dogs, human bandit enemies, and other creatures spawn repeatedly in some areas that you are not done in, so you can burn through a lot of ammo. They can respawn just by going into a building and coming back out, or leaving the area by like 200 meters and coming back. Veteran difficulty felt PRETTY DAMN TOUGH and demoralizing in some situations for sure, and easy in others haha so Idk if there's some tuning they need to do with that also 😅 Idk though, I was still having a good time I guess. Then again, I'm a lot more desensitized to misery because of DS3 and Elden Ring lmao. The game will get a lot better when they fix these issues, but just really sick of playing games that are basically unfinished at launch 😮‍💨

It's really not that overcooked because if they destroyer is unspotted it is very difficult to line up a shot when the detection is so low and you need a mile to be able to drop down and get the reticle on point. A lot of times I have to fly over the destroyer try and turn around and they go unspotted and I have to try and predict where they're going to be then they pop up last second yes if the destroyer is hard spotted it's a lot easier

I could honestly see this getting the Parseval treatment. Peak strength for a week, then nerfed to uselessness because the noobs with big bank accounts can’t handle it. Still goes to show you how Enterprise does need to be made a teensy bit better. Not much, but just a little.

No it's not...any competent dd is essentially immune to it, it hits light/small cruisers more consistently, but otherwise it does less damage to bbs and cruisers than lexington and saipan, it has horrible concealment and mediocre aa. Everyone said the same thing about Pobeda and that thing is essentially a ghost. Everyone jumps to this OP conversation when a new ship comes out, because apparently nobody realizes that you're just playing the glory days of when some people don't know what it's capable of or what it's weaknesses are. Scharnhorst was OP when it first came out, wrecking Everyone that didn't know it had torpedoes, kutuzov was OP, shit the community even raged about how OP Atlanta was, not to mention stalingrad, Jean Bart, or even the recent Michaelangelo.... every ship can be great if the majority of players don't have a clue of it's capabilities, instead of nerfing it into the ground there should be some thought process trying to figure out how to play against it.... I can only think of 1 ship that was truly OP when it came out, the Ark Royal, and even then, it wasn't nearly as GODMODE op as everyone claimed, but now, it's overnerfed, essentially not even top 3 T5 CV anymore.... I get that everyone is wanting to be excited for good ships, but this is getting ridiculous. Anyone who has actually known me for a couple of years would tell you that I've been wanting Chkalov to come since before Pobeda was released, it's not me being a lexington fan boy...

Those who complains: they camp, they dont react to planes coming, they dont watch mini map, they dont know bout this cv yet but now many do so they started dodging and its very effective If you having trouble surviving vs this cv then its a skill issue if a bb dev strike a cruiser its alright, if cv takes half broadsided cruiser hp its op and must nerf 🤷 223k dmg is great but any cv t7 can do it too except some, of course some clown gonna say it got over 300k probably will to rebuild and shit so if a dd kept torping 3 bbs and they use will to rebuild and he got 300k means op must nerf? get real dude if u cant deal with this ship then am sorry u r a noob

As a CV main it needs a littke tweak, i know you probably have it, i dont but i want it. And yes people can dodge but not everything i agree yku can make 6 torp hits 2 and 6 bomb hits 3 but it is OP and needs a little nerf.

You can only dodge for so long at least with a BB you can go dark or hide behind islands with cv you can't hide anywhere on the whole map no matter how much you dodge or shoot down planes you will eventually die just this one can kill you in 2 drops even with full d7p full AA build can not stop it

This is not the average game of this ship, so showcasing ONLY this amazing FLUKE of a game, you are giving this ship way more credit than it deserves. This is honestly why I hate content creators in this game, they all just click bait the new ships, show case that 1 good game it took them hours to get. And act like everything is to strong and needs to be nerfed. When in reality the fact you had tons of normal games trying to find your good game to upload, is proof it’s balanced. But fat chance they ever show those games or even mention it took them 30 games to find this good one 😂

I mean I stream all my games live, go watch I guess. I've already broken 200k multiple times, this wasn't really a fluke. And my average stats in Chkalov are better than my stats in a lot of Legendary Tier ships. I'd say that's a bit concerning

@@pgrapidzLIVE I mean you are playing a completely NEW ship, that people aren’t familiar playing against. So obviously it’s gonna have the best stats, they are extremely patted right now. I have a 100% winrate on the Izmail, and better damage stats than I have on my BA Montana, does that mean Izmail is broken? Compared to the other CV for T7 this one isn’t really all that special. And still suffers from all the Russian CV problems. I just don’t see this anymore of a threat in games than literally half the other things people play. It’s not like having this ship is a free win by any means

@@ToskaCatmy understanding is that within a couple days of its release the damage record set with it exceeded the next highest T7 Cv damage record by 100K so if that ain’t a sign it’s broken I don’t know what is.
