I'd hazard a guess those saying she's underrated, have only recently discovered, and don't know her body of work, plus shes an indie actor so you'renot gonna get her in a Marvel etc . I grew up in the 90's and I would consider her at the vanguard starting at that time, I should hasten to add that I'm not American. Probably a generational thing.
