The pregnancy wasn't hidden at all. It was just a boss move for Halle to let the world know that it was her choice when and whether or not to talk about it. Everything is not for public consumption and Halle drew that line in the sand in a way that very few public figures do. It was a teachable moment.

Lol musical films that Both have performed poorly. Blackwashing a character is awful, and the end result was horrific CGI and a very dark sea. She cannot act because it isn’t a gift of hers and she does not sing comparably to a theatric Broadway professional. Plenty people have agreed.
