The fact that Chloe went her whole life without the love of her life and Lucifer went millennia without his just to keep a promise to their daughter it's quiet beautiful. All that time knowing why they were doing what they were doing and not being able to tell her and still loving each other really broke me. On a more fun note, I always wondered how they would deal with the fact that Lucifer wouldn't age while Chloe would, amazing fix!

In a nutshell Chloe is basically now the queen of hell, and with Amendiel now being God (and Lucifer now forgiven and accepting of his role) I'm sure she and Lucy can come and go as they please. They've been talking about continuing with a new run, but I guess we'll see. 😇😈😁

I do wish that instead of answering the door assuming it’s donuts he had already emptied the room and answered the door expecting his next patient and instead it’s Chloe. That would have made the joke a little more clear. Plus knowing Lucifer and after eons without Chloe he’s probably immediately ripping off her clothes. 😂

Time travel is a closed loop. Rory was one of the reason lucifer realised that he had to go to hell. Rory didn't create any new timeline. That was bound to happen

There are more then one theory of time travel. One if a fixed timeline (like this show) and the other is branching timeline. Branching is what you are talking about where moving through time creates new time lines. The other, which this show uses, is the idea that the past cannot be changed. What has happened will happen, the timeline is fixed and cannot be changed. Even by someone going to the past with the intent to change it. Them going into the past is part of the past and will cause the events to happen as they do. Which is why Rory going into the past made him discover what his calling was and leave, she was the reason he left.

It's really not. He has discussed returning to hell MANY times. Even left for periods of time to rule over it again. Him finding a healthy way to rule in his realm and Chloe eventually being with him when it's her time so they can spend the rest of eternity together is perfect. She would have aged and died on Earth while he stayed the same. This way they spend a few decades apart but get to be together after.
