Sugaring is less painful than waxing, though you can't go somewhere for sugaring because they're stupid and just use it like hot wax. The whole point is that you can use it at slightly warmer than room temp like a putty. You can also use baby powder as an extra protective coating. It doesn't stick to that only the hairs. But laser hair removal or electrolysis is really the way to go if you can afford it, can't do laser if you have light colored hairs though or dark skin, only have electrolysis as an option in that case. Though definitely use a numbing cream first, then you don't even have to worry about it. You're just chillin'. The peeing isn't really a problem for me, probably because I use a Western style toilet you actually sit on, not the squatting type stuff that's common in Japan. But yeah spread with fingers, ig I just kind of always do that like index & middle finger making a ^ up top.

Many women trim their pubic hair in the areas that they don't shave it, so they don't feel like having too much hair down there. It's not like a sponge that sucks up all the water, either, and not all the hairs get wet by the pee. I guess because of the way Sakamata sits, it puts pressure on her urethra, resulting in the same kind of effect that you have when putting one finger on the end of a garden hose. But usually, only a very small amount of hair actually gets in touch with the pee.

The reason many women only shave the borders (the areas where it's easier to shave) and trim the rest is because either shaving it would be too hard/tedious, or they are afraid of cutting themselves, or they feel "dirty" if the hair is too bushy. It's a question of how comfortable a woman feels down there. Usually doesn't really have anything to do with the flow of the pee
