I agree. There were a lot of stop and go movements that didn't go well together. I'm not sure who does all of their choreography but it's obvious that it's not always the same person because the new minis have routines that are way more fluid, cleaner and more character than the old dances.

It just kinda of evened the playing field. Kendell had 2 extra days of rehearsal time. The only edge chloe had was watching Kendell before she went on.

Kendall had more privates booked and started learning her dance, that doesn’t mean she should go to competition and have her nerves manipulated by having her place be switched so she’s now watching her competition. For someone who’s constantly preaching about fairness it was pretty low of Christi and Chloe, Christi was wrong for even telling her child she’d take her phone.

This is one of my favorite Kendall solos. I think her energy and faces was a lot better in this than in any of her other solos. I do hate that she messed up that first turn (it was so good when she later nailed it in the 45 second solo thing) but the rest of her turns and posture were also a little off. I think that if she nailed her turns/had better technique she would have gotten second or third. The problem with Jill tho is that she thinks Kendall is on the levels of Chloe and Maddie but she’s one of the weakest dancers on the team and very inconsistent. She does dances like this solo well but the rest of the time she seems very lazy and tired and her technique isn’t as great. This is the best I’ve seen her technique and energy and even then it wasn’t enough.

I really liked her voodoo doll solo she should have won nationals with that for sure. Also DOA was great as well, I did like this one too it just wasn’t my favorite but it challenged her to do more.

Whether you go first or second or last, that isn’t an excuse for messing up in a dance. You should be able to do well in your dance regardless of when you go onstage. Kendall could’ve still done well even if she went before Chloe. Chloe would’ve still danced well even if she went before Kendall.

no offense to Kendall at all bc she has amazing technique but in my opinion Chloe is far more interesting to watch as a dancer. she flows nicer and has great emotional execution. i do think it’s sad that Kendall was pigeon held as a jazz dancer for so long. she does do well in that genre but she was a nice lyrical dancer. she just needed to use her face more. i liked Chloe doing jazz but she was clearly a lyrical/ballet dancer. even when she wasn’t allowed to train at Abby’s studio. she still did well and i think her technique held up.
