Accents also exist in Spanish grammar and they are very important cause the accent makes that particular syllable sounds stronger. A lot of words in Spanish if you don’t put the accent can mean something totally different. Example: papá=dad papa=potatoe. Also when it cause to name and last names that require the accent. If you don’t put the accent the sound of the word it’s different. I love how some Latinos in the USA. Still put the accent in their names. It’s our culture and the origin of the name. Like with the letter Ñ. It’s not pronounce like an N. In the Spanish alphabet the Ñ is a letter and we have 27 letters in the Spanish alphabet. Sound very different from the Ñ as well.
