I realized during 2013-2014 was the PEAK of big, bushy eye brows like Cara Delevingne with super matte and plump lips like Kylie Jenner. Looking back I realized my eyebrows was literally like a caterpillar with a crazy arch 😂now the makeup trend is all about skincare, breathable and glowy makeup. Our brows aren’t ‘drawn in’ and perfect anymore and our lips are hydrated and glossy. This shows that we are more comfortable with our own skins and we aren’t chasing the standard of “perfect” anymore. ❤️

It's funny cause Cara's brows were just naturally bushy and quite fluffy looking. The perfectly drawn on blocky brows people started doing inspired by her are nothing like her actual brows 😂

2013 lol no.. Kylie Jenner lip kits came out end of 2015. The drawn in lips and the crazy eyebrows with the arch were all around 2016. And fashion repeats itself - it was all about make up in 2007 and then 2010 was about being natural then it went back to crazy make up in 2015 so don’t worry soon we will be back to crazy overdone make up hahaha enjoy it while it lasts

I only found you recently, so I can’t say that I recall when you used to do your makeup more glam or heavy. I just wanted to say that you’re beautiful and I really love your videos. As for tonight? I prefer the current way that you do your makeup. My technique has changed as well. I’m older than you so I am talking about heavy black eyeliner & over plucking my eyebrows, so that to this day I have to pretty much fill them in. 🤦🏻‍♀️ during quarantine I have watched a lot more makeup videos than ever before, and right now I’m pretty settled on a 10 minute natural makeup look. Especially since my favorite part of makeup is lipstick and lip gloss, and I have to wear a mask every day to work so that’s kind of on hold! 💕

Both sides look amazing I like the right side better a bit and this looks like a bridal look! A 2 in 1 video!! But I love the left side too. Theres no looking better or worse but see theres a time and place for the right side and for everyday left side. I prefer the natural brow more definitely but the eye makeup is gorg on right side. I’m a single mom to a 10 month old so I really love seeing these videos of the more natural look. It’s a lot easier for me to try to achieve. I’ve started timing myself trying to get myself into a 10 minute makeup routine. I have the oiliest skin and live on the GC so it’s always my base I struggle with. ❤️💕

I remember trying the concealer triangle thing under the eye so much because everybody was doing it and it looked flawless on camera. Anytime I did it, it looked horrible. It would crease, cause dry patches, and just looked so wrong 😂. I love the way you do your makeup today. I feel like it's a lot easier to recreate and looks awesome!

Your make up these days is FLAWLESS,I need that Tom Ford palette now haha The skincare and eyepatch is a great idea to seal the serum in and keep shadows off the skin BUT ALSO you can use the patch as a guide to place shadow like the old sticky tape trick which I still use lol love from Gippsland Australia girl!!!! ✨✨✨

Both sides look great for different reasons. The old side for glam events, like you said, and the new side for more every day and casual events. But the message and ethos behind the new side is so much more healthy and inspiring. In the old version you were covering everything and changing your natural shape, whereas in the new version you're enhancing what's there and taking better care of your skin. 💜

Saaame, I used to neglect skin prepping properly before make up and use all matte finish products. Not anymore though in the recent years I'm all about skin care and treatment like product focusing on skin, I dont wear fake eyelashes anymore (I dont have time nor like it on me anymore lol).SO I PREFER YOUR LOOK AS YOU DO IT NOW HEHE. you look gorgeous no matter what you decide to do tough 🥰
