How To Install A Jandy TruClear Salt System To A Pentair IntelliConnect

In this video we show you how to install a Jandy TruClear Salt System to a Pentair IntelliConnect from start to finish. We discuss a lot of tips and tricks on how to get it done safely, efficiently and how to provide a professional install for your clients.
With it not going to a standard Intermatic timer it's not much different with wiring. The way I look at relays are they are just miniature Intermatic timers. You can look at the largest automation system available, and if you just envision the relays as mini Intermatic timers things look way simpler than they appear!

What did y’all use to cut the conduit? It was barely off screen.

We use one of two things. Either a curved utility knife/small PVC pipe cutters if wire is in the conduit or the Milwaukee PVC shears if we’re cutting the conduit without wire in it. In this video Ian used the curved utility knife.

Had any experience with the new Hayward aquarite s3?

Not yet. We don’t do a lot of Hayward products because the reps have been terrible in the past. One guy that I started to gel with was named John (forgot last name) but then he left Hayward. The S3 is a unique looking system. If we ever get around to installing one they surely will be a video on it. Haha. Thanks for watching.

@@ChlorineKingPoolService the s3 systems seem to be nice. So far. Love Haywards products, but the reps are horrid. I am a warranty center for them in Florida and it’s impossible to get anything done.

@@fictionized927 You're echoing the same thing I hear unfortunately. They wanted me to be a warranty station as well, but the rep told me I had to buy the warranty stock which instantly turned me off. Both Pentair and Jandy stock me up with whatever we need at no charge. Do they still do that?

Jandy. It seems they found the flaws of other brands and critiqued their equipment to keep life easy for everyone touching the pool. Example. You can see when it the calcium gets built up and it needs servicing rather checking it when you see an inspection light.
