whats this valve do?

@@LegendJ0e4 it replaces the OEM valve that's in place! Essentially the valve recirculates boost pressure from the intake back into the compressor when the intake closes suddenly, e.g. when changing gear. We offer our recirculating valve (or sometimes called diverter valve) option and it does the same job but because ours in aluminium, serviceable and tuneable there is no risk of it breaking or splitting or cracking like the OEM can. The process for an atmospheric valve (or blow off valve) is petty much the same, it just dumps the boost pressure out rather than recirculating it! Ours is better than the OEM because of the reliability and the tune-ability(with the different springs) so means you don't have have the risk of it failing when running more boost pressure :) and our have a lifetime warranty! The one we fitted for Chloe was a atmospheric valve (or blow off valve) which is what gives the awesome noise! Hope this helps!

I just seen in your lowering video you was talking about new alloys. ……you could just get the ones you have resprayed gloss black. It would be a lot less expensive (about £280) I will say though I have gloss black alloys and they are a pain to keep clean you have to spray them with a protector so brake dust washes off them easier. I also think your car would look nice with carbon fibre mirror caps and maybe a carbon fibre wing

Better to put air intake system and remap it first before putting on a BOV. It’s going down on power and can go to limp mode if the air/fuel ratio is out of sync

cool, but dont see the point in these. can only speak for my tsi engine, but i get the same sound if maybe slightly quieter(only hear it from inside) from putting an aftermarket filter on which in my case probably cost less than a forge valve unless they are under £30 as i have a universal job. i had a creation motorsport filter kit which was good for about a year before the filter which was foam started to split. i didnt maintain it, but unless you do that them mesh ones better to go for.

What you really want is an Air intake system. That makes the turbo noises heard. The blow off valves vent to atmosphere and can mess up how the car runs as its expecting air to be recirculated back into the intake. So the car doesn't know where that air has gone.

We put all of our valves through thorough testing to ensure that it doesn't effect the running of the car, and especially doesn't throw up any EML's! And then if anyone ever does have any issues with one of our products, we will always do everything we can to put it right :) 🙌
