Wow, very well done animation, I could really see how the building is put together. This building was very inspirational to me when I was doing my master's thesis for architecture a few years ago. Such a pity this was never built, it likely would have become some of the world's great architecture.

I see at least two reasons why it was no built. First It is impossible to make everybody agree in this part of the wordl especially the religious people. Second It is may be too obvious that KAHN wanted to design the "third temple" and may be trigger the third world war... Saddly the result is the reconstruction like it was before destruction. We have missed the most important architectural building of our time.
