One thing that always bugged me about Cho'Gath: His Tooltip on R shows 6 different categories (Minions, Pets, Monsters, Dragons, Epic Monsters, Champions). Why are there 6 different categories, when the code effectively only looks at 2: Small Frys and Large Meals? It can be a bit confusing at a glance to remember if you're at 6 Small Frys or not.

Hold shift while looking at your ult, it’ll tell you how many out of 6 you’ve consumed

Tip if im going to recall on cho, and i have my ult thats when i munch a minion. While you go back and are returning to lane having that cd ticking down while you walk back and you will have it ready shortly after getting back while still getting bigger

When I play cho gath, I always rush iceborn gauntlets for the crowd control and the slows. It gives good tankyness and cooldown haste, but mainly, catching the enemy in the slow from iceborn gauntlet makes landing Q during the fight a lot easier. I donno, maybe im just a newb.

Personally prefer w max second because of higher flag damage and longer silence to combo it with Q or R.

yeah you can max W second as an option as well, this is one of those situations where it depends on the meta, items, lane opponent, team comps, etc... but it's great that Cho has that flexibility

welcome to league of legends! there's a few pre load outs you can setup for things like runes or build paths before loading into the game yes, the client has been updated over the years to actually make this quite easy for newer players, so in general you can just follow the recommended rune pages and item builds suggested game to game.

gotta ask thou how tf you hit mid laners with q idk if i am facing hackers at this point or not but no matter the placement i can not hit them even if they are in the middle of a cast they still are able to walk right out of it it's unreal

yeah some players are pretty good at dodging skill shots if they are fast with their clicks, but keep practicing trying to hit them when they go for last hits, that's usually the best time to land it - wait to see them start an auto attack animation, then cast it with them in the middle of the hitbox so it's tougher for them to dodge it.

his q is quite slow so you gotta either predict them or slow them as long as they dont have dashes

100% i actually have had a bunch of fun with cho support before, build him ap and max q, spam that from bushes and just keep poking them!

@@Altazas in general full ap would mean every item you build (outside of boots) would need to have an ap element to it. patch to patch the best ap items could change, but generally on cho full ap would mean rushing Rod of Ages or Everfrost, into Demonic Embrace.
