It's a part of the ' suna ritual ' . It helps with the nervous system and blood circulation. If you are not in the near of a coid body of water you take a cold shower or soak your feet in cold water , then in the suna in temperature as high as 85 ⁰ C for fifteen minutes and repeat the process. This practice help to strengthen your immune system. Often in Europe people will let their babies sleep outside or take walks by freezing cold temperature , with the babies of course well clothe.
