This has to be the most beautiful, intimate yet classy illustration of their love. As the viewer you understand fully without having to see it all. This movie was refreshing and gave insight to a time and place in Korea we that's long passed. Bravo to the Lead actors who portrayed this with such skill and beauty on so many levels. Such a hugely different and mature character here than in Hospital Playlist. Amazing acting!!! Some of these Korean and Chinese actors really set a much higher bar for acting excellence than the Hollywood actors.

You can say that again. Would rather watch a K drama or movie any day as opposed to the garbage that’s been coming out of Hollywood the last 20yrs. SK actors are far superior IMHO. The storylines, have much more depth, so many layers, it’s like peeling an onion, I am rarely disappointed.

It's rare that a ML lead acts like him. Normal is: "Oh I'm the man , you have to do what I want and to be happy I choose you cause I'm straight." *Irony off* He is really able to let those attitudes and show us in fine nuances of expressions how his role, the king, felt about her, from shy, anxious how she reacts to him, soft, he shows how vulnerable the king was and she (FL) could verry good response to that. The king were fine with that even she were a real guy cause he loved the person without knowing the real gender. We saw not much skin or adult stuff it depends all of showing this feelings. I think that drama will be more a sucsess in western countrys cause of the Asia standards and double-standards there will some koreans and other asians have a problem with. 🤔
