Hi Laura, first about this video, on one of your previous videos you said you proof your dough in your microwave. I thought that was a great non drafty place. I think it's worth mentioning that trick often since not everyone has watched all your videos. A recipe idea, my mom used to make these lacy cookies made on mettle forms. They were sprinkled with powdered sugar. She also made some very very thin cookies that had a chocolate base and again looked lacy, I think nuts were involved too. Please if you can find these traditional cookies I'd love to make them. They might be from Prussia or Italy because my mother came from both places. Please excuse me if you've made these cookies or if they're too labor intensive.

when i tried this recipe following the measurements for ingriedents given i get a gob of dry, flour dough that is so unmixable that ity clogs up the mixer grinding it to a stop, unmixable even by hand. Dont understand why she would give measurements that mix ??? At 3:51 video shows dry mix about to be mixed, at 3:52 video skips to already soft and pliable creamy looking dough?? I think she left out the most cruical part, when i put same ingriedents in bowl just like she did when i turn on mixer it barely gets dry parts wet and instead gobs up and stops mixer???
