My uncle has been making this since I was a kid. Every holiday we always came for “the stuff”. That’s what he named it.

That’s funny! 😄 I have heard it called many different things but have never heard it called “the stuff”; however, it is definitely some delicious stuff! My husband’s grandmother made it when he was growing up and it’s one of his favorites too! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for sharing your family memories! Have a blessed day!!!

Our food holds so many memories from the past as we remember those who introduced us to the food or enjoyed it with us. This is one of the reasons I started my channel as I was dealing with the death of my father. I would only hope this recipe is as good as you remember and allows you to pass it on making new memories as well. ☺️ My sincere condolences on the passing of you mother. We never “get over it” we just get through it. God bless and enjoy the recipe!!! 🙏🏼 Thanks for watching and your comment! Have a blessed weekend!

Looks yummy, but would have loved to see you cut up a slice! After all that work showing how to make it, no punch line. I like to see a taste test, but if not, at least plate it up so we can see it up close! It looks delicious!

Yes, I have learned this over time on KZbin. Originally, I was hesitant about eating constantly on video no matter how much I wanted to take a bite, but I got over it. Now, I try my best to taste each video. Thanks for watching and your comment. Have a blessed day!

@@stephsstovebystephaniethom7249 I understand, a close up also if not a taste test works of whatever you make sliced up to see the finished dessert or meal. Not criticizing at all, just my input. It’s like baking a dessert and never getting to see closeup What is looks like plated or cut. Always good to slice a piece of cake or whatever 😊👍🏻
