Chocolate Tube Slime Mold Time Lapse

This is stemonitis splendens, commonly known as the chocolate tube slime. It is a species of slime mold. This was growing in my monotub after my mushrooms stopped fruiting. This video was shot over 15 hours. This stuff grows really fast!

Have you heard of the q tip method? Apparently if you swab the substrate nothing should stick to the swab?? I haven't got try this yet. I finally found more your videos. For past 4 months I could only find the no pressure cooker one💔 I appreciate you sharing your knowledge 🤘😎💚🍀🔥❄️🌲🍄

Yes. This was the end of this tub's life. I saw something growing and then then next morning it was this!
