So far, I've only truly loved someone once. And for those two years, I glowed. It had the highest and lowest points of my life and I will always be grateful for it. Stuck in this never ending hole of sadness.

My first love was my childhood best friend, we were childhood sweethearts at the time. From back when we were in diapers til we graduated high school this year. He and I were inseparable. Even when people tried to separate us, it would never happened. The day when he graduated, he once told me that no matter how far of a distance we are from each other... we will always be together. There's was a time when I really wanted to confess my feelings to him, but I never got the chance to since I was pulled away from my family and friends. First love can be bittersweet if the shit had hit the fan early on as bitter emotions (and lost trust) tend to make things worse rather than better. Only when someone loves for the second time, that he can understand how fragile love really is and needs to cultivate it for his relationship with his beloved even stronger. Leslie Potter It was. I kept my hopes held high for a few months, hoping something would change. It kept me from being upset for a while. About 3-4 months later, he just threw everything back into my face and hurt me more. I still really cared about him, but the idea of it hurt because I knew I'd never get a chance. What I felt for him, he felt for someone else, and it did really hurt. It hurt more when reality hit me that if he was able to lie for such a long time the way he did about how he felt, then there's no point in trying. Earlier this month, I actually got together with a friend of mine that I frienzoned in the past, and him and I are really happy together. :)
