What a performance by Choi, whom i’d not seen before, so I am grateful for the introduction to him here. I personally prefer Forestella’s Bae Doohoon and his several performances i’ve seen. Jesus is reaching out to his Father here in the Garden of Gethsemane. In my opinion, Doohoon’s interpretation feels more complex and nuanced given the relationship he has with his Father and given who He is why He was born and the knowledge of that ultimate sacrifice that was being asked of him. Choi is an amazing singer, though.👏👏👏Kudos to him for presenting his interpretation so competently.
