Yea. But earthquake there was a bad play because kyle probably would’ve known with calcs the empoleon is specs. So seeing it lock into EQ after tenta goes down would allow him initiative to set up clef or ursaring. And emvee didn’t want to allow that

It was to counter the Raging Bolt. Kyle says in the vid he played this battle, and kinda this whole season like ass, because his mother has been in and out of the hospital and he isn't vibing with any of his Pokemon picks. His heart and head haven't been in it and I feel real bad for him. Hope things get better. Not gonna sugar coat it but this was basically a free win for even hungover emvee as long as he played even semi coherently.

Hey Emvee, could you elaborate on the rules behind the tera captain? I am just wondering if you guys have to bring one of them or if you can bring multiple but only have one tera? Nice video as always, love the draft league content.

Thanks :) you can bring any of your tera captains at a time and choose which one to tera during the game (based on the types you've selected for them) or bring none of them at all depending on the matchup if it's not in your best interest

that Tenta set was sus, not really sure what it was trying to achieve with reflect type too, i'm used to Mirror Coat tenta from rom hacks so that was expected to me, but even then getting off a good Mirror Coat would've been hard, i guess it could've worked on Flygon tho.

Quick feet doesn't work with flame orb. Guts ignores the attack halving of burn, Quick feet only the speed halving of paralysis.

Yeah, not sure why he didn't switch to a Toxic Orb. That way he would keep boosted Facades and the Tangled Feet, while still having full damage on the other physical attacks. It's not like Ursaring is going to have huge survivability, so being on the field enough for Toxic to accumulate is not an issue. If for whatever reason Ursaring goes on a sweep, then the Toxic damage doesn't matter much either (except for Vacuum Wave).
