To me it’s that the sweet candy is like a deceptive addiction. He goes from somewhat implying that candy ruined one guys teeth in the first few lines, to describing women that Andy likes, to mentioning his appetite is left pending. The backing vocals repeat wanting sweet candy over and over, just like how an addiction or sweet temptation would leave you wanting more. The chronic masturbator line really does it for me 😭😭 Looked into it a bit and someone mentioned Andy Warhol and his relationship with Candy Darling too. Very interesting.
