Saw them live few weeks after this album's publication, in France, near Bordeaux. they began their set with "lives like satellites" and it was such a powerful gig. It totally tore me up. Zen Guerrilla were opening for them.

Punk in my vitamin is the label , they do also release Lowercase (as well originated from Amphétamine Reptile Rds) on PNMV19, I love this record as well. Deezer got the B sides of various singles from A taste for bitter area and falls best from this era too. You d be surprised by Days of nothing full band winter version, and Pink Deluxe, Alaskas also appear.

@@abstractconcrete As i said in the coment it was the 1st day i went to Spotify and i went straigth ahead to Chokebore couse i been listening to them since the 90's , i have the phisical CD s of "A taste for bitters" , "Black Black" this CD and "Falls best" i didnt had any of the rest , "motionless" , "anithing near the water" wich are on Spotify. They did their first 3 LPs with Amphetamine Reptil Récords, wich are on Spotify, they did this CD with Bomba records , this is not on Spotify, and the other 2 "its a miracle" and "A part from live" they did them with Pale Blue records and they are not on Spotify too. But fortunately "Its a miracle " is on YT, the only one i havent listen to is "A part from life" , "Falls Best" is so good yes, its on Spotify aswell and there are "Days of nothing" in wich the winter session its in is on Spotify aswell and "It could ruin your day" the single is on Spotify aswell , so i think im just missing "A part from life" but thanks for the info and i must say u have a great taste on music , anyone who loves this band does, stay safe and greetings from Basque Country, north of Spain.

@@ezkibela well i do own personally quite a lot of Amphétamine Reptile LPs, so I ve been listening to since 97 or smth, when I was 17 so it keeps me remembering good moments, most of AmpRep bands went to Matador, Sub Pop and so on, but Lowercase is so great like ’kill the lights’ , and ’Aside and Besides’ and ’the going away present’ all appearing on deezer and/or spotify, but beware another band with a similar name appear and have an endless list of records (like southern records’ Karate excellents 4 LP w/ also anotherbandof eurodanceshit got the ex), still those are precious and nice, i have too anything near water on LP, the compil they did ’gunact same band naam, be originalplease FFS! Also the compilation ’ dope and f#cking in the streets vol 1-6’ and ’vol7-11’ love666’s ’please kill yrself so i can rock’ and well today is the day was there, Cows, Melvins even Boss Hop and Jesus Lizard, Helmet originally were on AmpRep , but Chokebore’s record ’a taste for bitter’ has been recorded aside from Abbey rock at Black Box, somewhere in Fr, they didn t mentio mastering engineer either that s fun! So this were was recorded Shellac fourth record full lenght ’At Action Park’ on 180gLP...,jin chokebord music, either w/ lowercase is the alternance of speed punk vs slow tracks w/ same energy slow then faxt...that s good rockmuziek ,’ this is a miracle ’ is great , li discovered it only feww weeks ago, so when i saw the tracking list on discogs, the two first and ’ police,’ are great, maybe this have to deal with record deals vs artist rights I suppose too bad, even chokebore official don t have them but yeah discover the singles appearing on deezer as a pleasant surprise so to speak, rock on! Oh and it’s nice for saying I have nice taste I try to listen to what fits most my moods so it s kind of changing, but noise sonic youth and chokebore survive after all this time as daily favourites and really like the calm and sad overtones and energy of ’black black’ this remindsmeeither Lovercase post-amprep , on the same indie label like matador ear,h thdn now in q sense and condtellation, which i m a true and sincere fan being from other half of the planet, greetings from southern france lol, tschuß, tot zien, nicht bad either lol! (It s funny my family originates from northern spain so muchas gracia, have nice days! Ciao)
