I enjoy Dalziels variety of work; his archive is amazing. This one I believe is his signature mix ... it flows with a sense of mastery and lends interest to 2 and 3 in this series. However, as with most trilogies ... the first one is the best.

This made me remember the 90's. -94 more specific. Dystopian roleplaying games like Mutant, Shadowrun, playing DreamWeb in DOS, reading William Gibson during late nights with rain and city lights outside, experiencing internet as it was back then. The demo scene on LAN-parties. Oh, the nostalgia.

Was stationed on a mine in the middle of a desert for 2 months. Had this downloaded on my KZbin app and became my only sole music to listen to while working. In the evenings before fell asleep, I would put the video on my room TV and the visuals and sound put me to sleep. Now, almost 4 years later, I still put this on my work laptop when I work late nights in the office and it helps me stay focused and working.

My friends and I, in 1989, were sure Blade Runner was right around the corner. We use to dream of mobile computers (decks), cash money replaced by cred chips or cards, and instant networking to the world. by 1996 all of those things (cell phones with the computing power of hundreds of 80's computers, atm cards, and the world wide web) were everyday, and so much more mundane than we imaged. We were sure that we'd all be speaking Japanese as they overtook us in cybernetics and computing, and that countries would dissolve and be replaced by corporations. And the question was never if, but when, the bombs would drop and send us back to the old west, in a mix of left over cyber tech and dusty saloons and small towns, powered by aging nuclear cells and creaking, aluminum windmills.
I agree with everybody in the comments. This is one of the best mixes of all time. So atmospheric and ambient.

Writing for my Cyberpunk Red game right now, and this is perhaps my favorite mix. Sometimes you get too heavy, too crunchy and boisterous with other mixes. It can disrupt the workflow, which I hate even more than writers block. But something like this, smooth and tingly, I really appreciate. It keeps me in the moods I get into while I'm writing out scenes. Thanks so much for the contribution!

Many different people come here wanting to hear many different vibes, I try to mix up the vibe to keep everyone happy. Anything on the channel with ambient or psybient in the title should be your vibe :)
but, I liked the crunchy sounds in my preferences of artistic audio for much a largely consistent aesthetic preference, for a large amount of time, casually as often usual, like good fun of listening to music as my chosen arts to enjoy sounds of, again. yeah, I would like another good time, again with my smoking.
@lileafeechildishGUCCIpinto30002 жыл бұрын
I thought, earlier, before in my lifespan that I was a fan of liking the good "crunch" designing Soundscape textured artistic audios that I like as music that I can download, often like good always. I liked the crunch & the bass; I want to get subwoofers & strobe lights that I can put in my bedroom that I can enjoy. I honestly like this dope stuff & like imagining creatively.

"There is no better means of intensifying the treasured feeling of individuality than the possession of a secret which the individual is pledged to guard. The very beginnings of societal structures reveal the craving for secret organizations. When no valid secrets really exist, mysteries are invented or contrived to which privileged initiates are admitted. ... The need for ostenatious secrecy is of vital importance on the primitive level, for the shared secret serves as a cement binding the tribe together. Secrets on the tribal level constitute a helpful compensation for a lack of cohesion in the individual personality, which is constantly relapsing into the original unconscious identity with other members of the group."

I love listening to this while I work by myself at my crypto mining warehouse and while building new rigs. It gives me nostalgia while seeming like the perfect music to listen to as I work on computers. It fits perfectly

It's really the Greatest Mix I've been ever listened. Thanks a lot!

Sorry about the adds guys, it wasn't me! KZbin doesn't let you monetize mix videos, but one of the artists in the video must have monetized it for themselves. I will upload a part 2 soon which hopefully doesn't get fucked by adds. In the meantime...all the people complaining to me in PMs, I can't turn it off but you can install an adblocker!

I think I like this mix better than the actual songs on a playlist. The mix cuts out some of the boring really long intros to some of these tracks. Seriously, I have all of these tracks in a playlist and it's 1hr42min. DALZIEL cut out 32 min of unnecessary down-tempo space for us.
@DALZIELMUSIC7 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude, yea all these tracks deserve listening to in their full form but for the sake of making an hour of tight psybient I tried to trim a little fat from the bones to make this mix just pure epic moments from end to end without the downtime.

Tell me, I've been wondering...Do androids dream of electric sheep?
@poposisa7 жыл бұрын
They "dream" their past experiences in the human world. Experiences keep playing over and over until theygo crazy or gain conciousness and rule the world.

Technically, everything we, androids and humans alike, know is a dream loosely based on our senses.

But what is a human but an organic robot? In essence, an android in itself?
@taoqixun58187 жыл бұрын
unless you program to dream. even AI don't dreams, do they? if u put a algorithm to do random calculation with no result.....as it loops it will learn to observe a pattern.... and then with what it had learnt....it will intepret the 'garbage' pattern to something meaningful, which bases on its mean purpose that is originally programmed to do.....every AI is originally designed to do a specific job, just like human....when u reach adulthood...'Purpose of life'.

The beauty of this video is how it reflects the inevitability of human suffering. No matter how much technology advances, or time that passes, humans will always suffer through the necessary structures upholding order.
