What are you talking about? Everyone from that time remembers strawberry and peppermint chomp. Chomps are 50c at Coles and Woolies. They're probably the snack/treat food least effected by inflation over the last 30 years that you can still buy at a major supermarket.

@tjmarx Actually, I've asked a lot of people over the years if they recall the other Chomps, and most say nay, especially in my circle of friends that are aged 41-45. To add, the local IGA and Newsagency's Chomp sells for a buck, but thanks for playing :)

OMG this advertisement!!! I haven't seen this in 32 years!!! I was only 9 when I saw this!!! Damn man...That Strawberry Chomp was EPIC!! it really was very nice tasting and I really liked it. But today's CHOMP representation is Chomp The Crocodile and all we have now is probably an inferior original flavour now. And the Chomp brand almost died and the company almost faded away but I was very very vocal in protecting it even though it'll never be as good as this variant?! Man I'd love to try the strawberry chomp just one last time but who wouldn't?!...Love this!!!

@@siredith8846 , it kinda is..I'm breaking on with 43 soon within a month and a half. I'm lucky because I'm actually youthful and don't look my age at all but I certainly feel it! More than the current itself, trick is not to dwell on it but that's sometimes easier said than done. Seen too much within 4 decades.

Long shot here, not sure if anyone can remember it, but I'm look the chomp ad were Tyrone chomp the Crocodile rides the skateboard(its an Australian ad from the late 80s or early 90s) if anyone has it or knows were to find it.....thanks in advance 😁✌️
