Always liked this one never was my favorite. Listened to this again today and for some reason just blew my mind. Not surprising, I guess depending on our current psyche certain music is absorbed differently ...and the fact that this band has so much content in each song. Their music never gets old. I Appreciate this kind of music more so than the other similar instrumental bands to Chon. Every song sounds like the time of your life. The experience of a lifetime. This band connects to the unspeakable. Where language is useless.

After far too long I finally bought the music book for this album. As always I'm blown away by how deceptively simple yet effective each riff is. Not to mention that Nathan and Esiah are absolutely brilliant as well, which just makes every passage that much more incredible. I really hope we see some more music from these guys, even if they're not and will never be CHON again.

Nathan and Esiah are indeed brilliant but you do know that they are not on this recording right? The studio bassist is Anthony Crawford and the studio drummer is Brian Evans. Regardless, I fucking love this song

Any producer know how I can do that type of effect they did on the outro that made it sound like it was in a hollow box and getting smaller. So it's clearly a guitar with a ton of reverb on it, saturation, and a filter. but they also make it sound like the reverbs shrinks in the box too. So there must be another addition layer of reverb.

Yeah, sounds like the guitar going into some sort of impulse response reverb and automating the dry/wet knobs on another similar reverb and the volume as well. Not entirely sure tho.
