I have never really ventured into viewing any of China's major cities until recently. I had a very different image in my mind. Some of their major cities have amazing designs. I have seen most of the cities in the United States, and it seems as if we may be diverting growth away from urban high density regions? I recently mentioned that many of the new business that I see on instagram appear to be built very cheaply. I can definitely now, appreciate some lag or gap from direct observation. For me, the question isn't where the electronic wealth is going? For me, I guess it may present a clearer picture to ask where are the raw materials coming and going? China may produce more steel than any other nation and buy or import a large amount? So it may be their time to build. I recognize there has to be a balance in global building of physical structures regardless of any wealth. We can only recycle and ship it so fast. We will see how things work out in the future.
