i'm assuming this is the last, but one more wouldn't be to surprising, 3:14, this line might be a reference to "the monkey's paw" a horror short story from 1902 in which a family get hold of a monkey's paw which grant's 3 wishes, but provides hellish consequences in return like giving the family £200 by killing their son leading to the company he worked for giving the family £200, this imply's the wish will be granted, giving the singer an audience, but with consequence's, like the ship no longer being the same ship, or it's destruction.
