I just don’t like how the devs say: “stealth is the best option” but proceeded to make the game revolve around rushing because it is so much more rewarding. You get next to no punishment for making noise almost.

I was using the Empowered/Jump Start/Choose Fight build on Ana - then one game I grappled a Hitch on the fuse exit to help save my teammate and I INSTANTLY lost it at full HP... never again. Grappler all day now.

You must have been 1 hp or lagging homie. Even with base stats and suffocating grip you still have a good chance to win with Ana.

@@a40dollardlc64 No, was not 1 hp nor lagging - unless you are running Grappler or the Family is impressively bad at spamming a button you will lose every grapple with suffocating active - its a 20% boost. Unless maybe you have like a 50 strength build or something that works, that I have not tried.

Idk why the family is quitting. It’s obvious which characters are distracting characters. Just go back and patrol the exits if you’re family. Ana is gonna have to try and exit eventually

I've had this build on ever since the beginning of the game and ever since it got fixed I've been a war machine ever since. It's not great if your team sucks but sometimes i'll pull off a solo escape despite my team dying off quickly and god it feels amazing to fight my way and have my final girl moment

With this close encounters are literally uncounterable Had an ana use this on me and a sissy on valve We were both there, defending it and couldn't move while she was just turning it on. They should never have removed the instant kills from CEs

Yeah this exact scenario just happened to me. Ana does valve, TWO of us go there, I get backstabbed while turning it off despite my teammate attacking her. Ana then initiates close encounter on teammate, wins and flees all while I'm still in stunlock and valve timer is still ticking.

After this video I paired choose fight(something I never use) with grapple on Ana and it’s working! Helping me escape or at least not die early in the game.

Choose flight is nuts. I quit so many games thinking that i was bugged out and couldn’t move 😂 it should either be 5 seconds of being concussed, or nerfed to 3 extra seconds. Feels bad to be family

Yeah it definitely needs to be tuned. It's insane that you can guarantee a gen off with it if you have max strength. Even just a second or two of reduction would be fine.

I feel like Choose fight should change abilities. Reduce the stun duration to about 1 second and give the victim a significant speed boost like 30%. This would make sense after fighting someone you'd have an adrenaline rush

You can’t have empowered and grappler it’s either or. Empowered is good but you can still lose close encounters with it. Grappler means you never loose..

At the point where “victims” are actively hanging out in the game looking to fight.. you know the game is wrong. I’m a survivor main and it’s gotten so hard to even get a game. Broken Virginia dlc and obnoxious survivor meta is killing this game. Tbf it’s the games fault for not balancing things well but yeah. Survivors being toxic with builds like these will just kill the game that much faster.

Fixing this perk was a mistake. It felt fair before. Now I'm just punished for like 8 seconds in an animation from a minigame that's already extremely victim sided. Had so many bullying Ana's because of this exact build and it's getting to where I'm just starting to dodge matches if they have it now. It's not fun.
