Is that a barbour lowerdale gilet? What size do you recommend if layering under a size 40 barbour beaufort? Ty!😊

Hello; I wear Medium (M) size in Barbour Ashby.I bought a classic Beaufort jacket in size 36, but I am undecided whether to change it to size 38.36 size fits thin knit sweaters and shirts, but when I wear it with a little thick sweaters or hooded sweatshirts, it squeezes a little in the chest.Do you think I should keep the size 36 or should I buy 38?(I'm 1.74 meters tall and 75 kilos.)

Yes, a size 38 in Beaufort to match similar size of a Medium Ashby. Much depends on your shoulder size , more so than waist or chest, as the Beaufort is a boxy fit. Hope this helps. Rob Cahill, Cahill's in Peterborough Ontario

Allthough Barbour is old brand, funny that this 80's model is the Classic.
