I have experienced personally that practicing in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh is the most helpful way towards happiness for yourself and the people you love. After 20 years of sincere practice my whole life has changed for the better. But the beauty of these practices is that it is possible to experience deep positive transformation after a (very) short time. My best wishes to everyone who sincerely do these practices.

SO true. I realized today the reason Thich Nhat Hanh's teachings are so phenomenal is that he lives the practise as he teaches it, with uncanny perception. Thank you for sharing your comment/thoughts.

Who can tell me what are the differences between mindfulness, conciousness and awareness?

To me, consciousness is simply being awake, i.e. not in deep sleep thinking about nothing. Awareness is acknowledging your environment, your thoughts and the world around you in the present. Mindfulness is the action of moving towards awareness. It is a desire to be in the present moment. Being mindful requires you to focus to obtain awareness, if you're not already aware. Concentration is when you focus on one thing only while simultaneously not thinking about anything else. Mindfulness is being aware of everything you observe in any given moment. Consciousness is the magical field in which all this can take place-like a theater.
