I saw this video yesterday and realized that I had all the cards, so I decided to give it a try since it seemed like a fun deck. I've been playing this exact list and just finished my 30th match. The stats are pure madness: 26 wins and 4 losses. Just went from Bronze 10 to Platinum 10 in a few hours. Thanks Roffle!

I've been trying out different versions of odd shaman a lot lately, the best deck I could conjure myself was a dragon variant winning by blasting face with burn spells with the help of alexstraza and malygos. This more aggro variant seems much better though!

Dude, I feel like we'd be best friends. Between the knack for thematic Wild decks and facial hair, I would think I was looking at myself. I know Secret Mage is already a meta deck, but you ever tried using Subject 9, and then dropping all the burst damage for more secrets? I always felt like Secrets Mage should have been a type of control deck, where it's all about timing the right secret at the right time. Subject 9 offers that type of control -- you will have a full array of secrets not just for countering specific plays, but also to mind-game an opponent, as they have to know whatever you played was deliberate. Spellbenders are great for messing with Counterspell tests, Effigies are fantastic on cheat-ish minions like Crystal Runner, and Potions of Poly mess with Deathrattles. Mage has gotten so many interesting secrets, and Subject 9 helps those sub-meta secrets start to shine. Wins games at rank 5 and better, if you want to take a crack. Heck, with so many defensive secrets, I even threw Antonidas back in; once the Secret count gets high enough, trying to play removal is scary, and he tends to stick.

If he didnt get the second spelldamage totem, lava burst would do 6, lightning bolt 4, and totemic smash would overkill with 3. Consider the value. He could've gotten a spelldamage totem.

I don't get how people could say consume magic is broken. It's really not. THe priest silence card is way better without the outcast, and it's a very reactive card with a very proactive mechanic. The only really strong thing about it imo right now is you often get it off of the cobalt spellkin, sure I might put it into a deck, but it's hardly OP like a lot of other demon hunter things.
