That sleep powder move on a sceptile would have failed for 3 reasons: - sceptile was already poisoned - it's a grass type so unaffected by powder/spore moves - electric terrain is up which prevents pokemon from falling asleep. Pretty funny lol

Challenge Idea for you guys! Go get some randomized Berries for you each then it will decide your pokemon to catch based on what are the characteristics of the berry. You only have to catch the first pokemon that matches the berry you get. Only 10 catches then finalize your team after catching . No skip. No legendary. Randomized Abilities and Movesets. If you can’t get any right your opponent can choose for you or skip the current selections in case they’re all good. You get 3 skips. Full evos and legends allowed. Cant remember if you've done something like this, but here it goes: You choose your starter, check moves and abilities. If you dont like it, you choose another, but you're stuck with the second one. Fully evolved, no skips except for the one mentioned before

A few of their party members had random tera typings, so it'd be fairly easy to pull off either using crystals or fixed encounters...hell, there are two video ideas right there (they did a fixed encounter video back when the games came out, but it was the normal fixed typings (the Water Garchomp and Ghost Naclstack were on both teams, if I recall)...a truer randomizer would be interesting, especially if Stellar is allowed).

Suggestion: each of you have to catch a pokemon in an allotted time (not random) once each of you catch a pokemon, you each tally up the pp totals of each Pokemons moveset. Person that wins gets to do one of following: Keep the pokemon, forcing loser to keep next pokemon random encounter Skip their own pokemon and steal the other, and make loser take random encounter Trade the catches Both skip and redo (make this limited). Repeat process till you have 6 each. Notes: Moves and abilities can remain secret from each other, just pp number is made known

How about a color challenge... Scarlet/Violet Straight up color vs color (red vs blue, green vs yellow, etc) Catch 9 mons (take the best 6) Random moves/abilities Have like 50% shiny rate, so if you team yellow and want Lucario, you have to hope to see a shiny one. If you want to go further, do a bracket challenge to see which color is best.

Video Suggestion: RNG battle only, you can only use moves on pokemon that are either not 100% accurate or have some sort of RNG factor (if your mon has one of those moves, move relearner to something that isn't), fully evolved mons, 2 skips, should be 3 starters but you spin a wheel between the 3 for more RNG. You guys really should have a Color Guide for when you do Color Challenges. That way you can look up the colors when you are telling the other to choose, or when you aren't sure during Wild Encounters that you can look it up to see if it matches the required color. Gg all the same though

I like your challenges. GJ guys! but in this one, i would prefer if you use multiple colors for guessing the pokemon. It's very tough to pick one by shiny color and with multicolors you just a have a better chances and it feels more natural.

Then the catching begins, here's the fun, only shaking trees or fishing, whatever the pokemon is, flip the coin, whomever it lands on gets the poke. Each have 3 skips Random encounters work too but overworld catching is a bit busted

Challenge idea: 1 and 2 stage fully evolved vs 3 stage fully evolved challenge (no legendary/no pseudo) One player gets the first six 1/2 stage pokemon on the overworld The second player gets first six fully evolved randomized encounter. Since 3 stages seems to be stronger, The one who gets 3 stages is locked on their encounter while the overworld encounter gets 2 skips

Each of you randomly generate 25 Pokemon and use it to make a bingo sheet. You can only catch those on your sheet and when you get 5 in a row you get to use your “free space” to catch one over world encounter of your choice. You can use any off the sheet that you caught, it doesn’t have to be the 5 in a row.
