Rev. Donald Parson came to my church as an 18 year old boy and grew into a man. He was and still is one of my heroes. He took Jerusalem Baptist Church of Gary, Indiana by storm and spawned a lot of ministers. He is and always will be one of my favorites

Dr Parson is one powerful and anointed preacher, of who I got to meet back in 1984 in Oregon, and Sin and Down fall situation,and trust factor was his message, and I did not see most of the congregation sitting , He is like CL Franklin exciting but very poetic and historical in his presentation of the gospel! It's a Black Theology that has been out of the south, but it's quite inspirational 4-sure! Bless you DOC!

Donald Parson is a great preacher,as the old saying goes a chip does not fall far from the tree. In the middle seventies his father Rev. L.C. Parson moved to my hometown Meridian,Ms ,he was a great whooper. He passed the mantle to his son.

I here u but remember that C L had the exposure. There were preachers during that time that did not have that type of exposure that could hang with C.L. Bishop FD Washington and Elder SE Mitchell were two great preachers that did not have the same exposure. There is a preacher right now in the back woods somewhere that outpreach everybody but is content on shepherding his flock. I feel u though.
