That is true. The wallet is the item that you use the most at a daily basis and that everybody sees when you handle it. Yes, a good quality wallet is important and shows your taste as well. I have a rugged camo wallet made out of a recycled fire truck water hose. when I am out hiking or camping and I need to carry my ID card and fishing license. However, in a suit and tie, something classier is in order like a Carl Fredrick wallet.

A wise choice, quite pratical and elegent. I too recently took the plunge and after much consideration picked one up from an English maker SageBrown. Same color as yours lovely congnac although on the largish side of bifold wallets love the craftsmanship and presence.

Ash. Good video today. About 20 years ago I struggled finding a new style wallet my old style bi-fold was too thick and carrying it in my back pocket aggravated my sciatica. Being a leather worker I made a small holder for my credit cards driver's license and other cards out of Cape Buffalo Hide A friend gave me. And I carry my cash any metal money clip. Both of these I carry in my front pockets. This solved my problem and the Buffalo hide has patina nicely. I very much like your new wallet and I am considering purchasing one or making one myself. Hello Ash, I hope you’re getting ready for the holidays. I think it’ll be a great idea to have videos on holidays gifts for us chaps, wife and perhaps the teenagers. Please consider making a video or two on holiday giving presents. The wallet looks great. I will be buying this wallet on Black Friday here in the states. I bought a wallet at Lakeside in 1999, which cost £20. To me at the time that was a lot of money. However I still have that wallet now 22 years later. The leather and stitching is still great now. So proved to be a real investment.

Great video Ash. I can attest to purchasing a decent quality wallet. I opted for a Bottega Veneta bi-fold wallet a few years ago and the leather is still as supply as it was when I bought it. I even got complimented once when pulling it out to pay for a nice tie when the sale assistant complemented me on my "fine taste". 😊

Exerlant choice ash l've had my Swanfield for 3 years now a gift from what wife and ive even bought a card holder from them too they are probably gonna be my last ever wallet .... my last swanfield did take a bit of a beating and some of the thread came off but with them having lifetime warrant they simply sent me a brand new one... a really good awesome company

Well, Carl Friedrik also produce a model called the Amwell, which is larger and more traditional. Other than that, Aspinals of LOndon are a similarly prices company that I have bought from in the past, who also make great wallets. Good luck!

Many years ago, I opted for a 'Bellroy Note Sleeve’. The attention to detail is on another level! It stores flat bank notes, and has a pull tab for multiple cards. It’s compact, sleek and has aged beautifully - I doubt I will ever need another wallet. Great content Ash 👍
