My redbud trees have had brown seed pods this year which it had not previously. What does this mean??

Hi guys! I ordered a flamethrower redbud online, but it’s just a stick without any budding, no branches, no leaves! I did cut the top to see if any sign of life, and there is some small green in the center. Any tips to help it grow, would be much appreciated!!!

So the Dogwood's look the same from a distance as the white redbud. Just have to look closer to see the dogwood is a bigger flower, right? I'm asking because I bought a redbud earlier and I took out a split maple, guess it grew to fast idk but it would have been hallow to I took it out and replacing it what I got today and I think it has a picture of it having lavender colored flower buds but they are white looking. Just confused, guess it doesn't matter if it is a dogwood I just wanted a redbud because it's our state tree here in Oklahoma. Also the classic sign the crappie are biting so I've got a double agenda.

I lost 3 redbuds secondary to V wilt! Never knew it effected them.

Can anyone please help me out, I am from Australia and the summer is just starting here, I am very much into Bonsai and I actually have a redbud and it was in a big pot and the tree was fairly strong, around the mid spring we transferred it into a smaller pot (bonsai pot) and had to cut down branches and the root system. To give you the run down. 1. I have used well drained soil. 2. Kept it in partly shade. 3. Well watered. 4. The root system was fairly strong and is enough to support the entire tree. 5. Root system = size of the tree. Long story short, it has been almost a month and the tree is not showing any sign of recovery. But it still is holding on only 3 leaves 🤷🏻‍♂️. Just wondering is it trying to recover from a shock or are they a pain in the ass of a tree?

do the y grow in mexico in the topical weather of the golf of mexico veracruz? hot warm weather?

No luck in zone 9 either. Only flowered once, beautifully. It was a deep purple that aged to lavender. After that, no more blooms only leaves. I'm sad for it is my favorite tree of all my collection. Any helpful info?
