That would make it easier to try the products you discuss. I was 'clever' and got notebooks from Japan -- enough to make the shipping cost seem reasonable -- and I'm still working through the stack.

Shipping from UK to America is nearly prohibitive for such a small item. Beyond the shipping cost, there are also dutes, taxes, and broker fees. From my experience, the total cost of shipping a 20 dollar item and a 700 dollar item, it is nearly the same. Thank you for the review.

There are no taxes on imports up to $800 (at a federal level anyway). You also should not have to pay brokerage fees. I buy stuff from Europe and Asia all the time. When I have large imports (thousands of dollars) then I pay taxes, customs broker fees, and bond fees.
